2004 Chrysler Sebring Sedan
In 2003, the Chrysler Sebring sedan got a highly recommended commendation from
the mainstay of objectivity, the consumer guide, and now for 2004 yet again, the
much coveted recommendation has been awarded to his very sensible sedan.
Apparently the boys at Chrysler are doing something right. Packaging a series
of features such as, practicality, reliability high mileage per gallon and topped
with a very affordable price for such a magnificent machine, Chrysler is keen
on attracting as many customers as possible.
The 2004 Chrysler Sebring sedan is offered in two trims, the LX and the LXi.
The four-door sedan is the largest Sebring of them all. It has a vigorous wheelbase
of 108 inches, a height of 70.6 inches and an overall width of 54.9 inches. Up
front, Chrysler has designed a driver's cockpit, filled with convenient features
to
make the ride more pleasant and satisfying. The sedan has a front nose that focuses
interest on the Chrysler badge and on Chrysler's signature oval intake port. Polycarbonate-lensed
headlamps wrap around the front corners, while round fog lamps, available only
on the LXi, flank the grille.
The base 2004 Chrysler Sebring Sedan LX is offered equipped with a 2.4-liter,
4-cylinder engine that churns out 150 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 167 lb-ft of
torque at 4000 rpm. For those who feel that speed is the only barometer, the LXi
offers a 2.7-liter V6 that spews 200 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 190 lb-ft of torque
at 4850 rpm. 4-speed automatic transmission with optional manual-shift capability,
again offered only in the high end LXi, does the shifting.
