Chrysler Sebring coupe
The Chrysler Sebring coupe was first introduced in 1995. It was a part of the Chrysler and Mitsubishi partnership
called the Diamond Star Motors. Several years after, Mitsubishi gained full control
of the assembly plant in which the Diamond Star Motors automobiles were being
constructed and mass produced. Thus letting Mitsubishi gain control over the Sebring
Coupe's manufacture. Much of this coupe's design is
based on the other Mitsubishi sedans, such as the underpinnings of the Galant
and the stylings' of the Eclipse in the Talon. In fact, the Sebring coupe looked
like an elongated Eclipse then. Only now after much success and redesign has the
Sebring Coupe has achieved its own individuality, along with its siblings, the
sedan and the convertible.
But even in its initial run, the Sebring Coupe has achieved popularity due to
the fact that it possessed fine power with its 4 cylinder engine and the optional
V6, and elegant sleek design plus it's affordable. Through its evolution, the
coupe of the Sebring line has deterred rumors of being dropped and has recently
received warm acclamations from auto reviewers as a fantastic redesign and has
its performance tweaked to match those of the league leading Japanese coupes.
Performance and handling wise, the Sebring coupe has evolved tremendously and
has achieved star status at last.
